Areca nut trees are widely found in the tropical regions including the plains of India & very good quality trees are found in the Sub-Himalayan region of India, specially in the Eastern & Northeastern India. The Dry Areca Leaves are collected from the ground ( no leaf is cut down or no tree is destroyed here) which are Yellow in color with Brown shades. They are thick & bark-like.

The collection of dry leaves are done in the rural sector & brought to the factory. There the sheaths are separated &  cleaned thoroughly with fresh water & molded into various shapes. Heated plates of different shapes are used to compress the sheaths for molding purpose. Approximately 2-3 products of different size/shape are manufactured from each sheath. The finished products are dried in direct sunlight to evaporate the residual moisture. Then they are packed as per the standard packing size.
